New World Generation through its wholly owned subsidiary company Blue Box Technology has partnered with Vericor Power Systems, to bring to the Ontario Market a 3.5MW turbine module, with exhaust equal to 22MBTU/hr.

 

The cost savings are substantial.  Electricity savings in Ontario are in the range of $2.5-2.7 Million, depending on the Local Distribution Center.  If all the exhaust is utilized it is the equivalent to displacing 614 cubic meters of gas every hour.  The exhaust can be used for Co-generation and Tri-generation solutions.

 

Over 500 units are in operation globally with a reputation for durability and reliability.

The BBT 3.5MW unit is manufactured in Canada, with Canadian Standards and Certification.  Any Industry that uses process heat, district heating, pre-heating, steam, chilling and or C02 capture will benefit from installing onsite power generation with the added benefit of a CHP.

Blue Box Technology has also patented and developed a 500kW Waste Heat to Power modular system.  Stack exhaust from industry is used in place of fuel to drive a turbine.  The heat exchanger is key to the exhaust capture.  An exhaust temperature of 1200°F + with a velocity of the flow rate of 3.0kg/sec + is required.  BBT can perform a quick analysis to see if the system can be used for your company.
